FREE Online Tournaments:

  • Children must be a part of the TOPCHESS JUNIOR CLUB!  If you log in to ChessKid and do not see the TopChess Junior Club, please contact us via email.

  • Please instruct your child to log in between 3.15pm and 3.25pm and click the join button on the tournament screen.  The 1st round will start at 3.30pm sharp.  This is a good guide for how it works: https://www.chesskid.com/tournaments/how-to-join-live-tournaments.

  • Please use a laptop or computer rather than a device e.g. iPad, tablet etc.  Connections on a computer and there will be less issues with devices going into sleep mode.  We suggest using a mouse and mouse pad to play your moves.

  • Once students are in the tournament do not change screens.

  • Any players caught using computer assistance, or cheating in any other way, shape or form will be banned from future online and over the board tournaments run by TopChess.

I am not in the TopChess Junior Club, what should I do?

If you are NOT a member of the TopChess Junior Club, you can join us by following these simple steps:

 

  1. Go to the settings icon at the top of page (the cog).

  2. On the account tab, there should be an option to add a registration key at the bottom.

  3. Use the code is Q4HLSG.  Please email Alex on alexstahnke@topchess.com.au that you have joined the ‘Tournament Add’ group so he can then add you into the TopChess Junior Club.
